EAST TAWAS — Veterans and their families are invited to the Lake Huron Veterans Benefit Fair on May 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the East Tawas Community Center at 760 Newman Street in East Tawas.
The event is presented by the Iosco County Veterans Services Office. Its goal is to connect veterans and their families with the benefits, programs and services they have earned. The fair will bring several veteran-focused resources together in one place, making it easier for attendees to ask questions, gather information and get help.
Event highlights include VA representatives, veteran service officers, education resources, employment resources, health care resources, housing resources, DD-214 retrieval, community non-profits, quality of life resources and much more.
Veterans who need help learning about available benefits, replacing or retrieving documents, finding health care information, exploring housing support, or connecting with local service groups are encouraged to attend. Family members are also welcome, as many services and programs can help support the whole household.
Registration is available at HTTPS://HURONVBF2026.EVENTBRITE.COM.
Vendors and veterans looking for more information may contact Iosco County Veteran Service Officer Ron Whitney at [email protected] or 989-362-6571.
