Joseph Bank, 67, of West Branch

Joseph A. Banny passed away peacefully on September 17, 2023, at the Villa of West Branch after battling a chronic illness. He was born in Detroit, MI. on March 19, 1956, to Gabe and Hazel (Lewis) Banny. Joseph married the love of his life, Janet Lee Baker, on September 2, 1978, in Utica, MI. He loved watching movies such as old westerns, spending time with family, and making others laugh. He worked as a CNC machinist for many years before going to college to become an LPN. He is survived by his loving sister Michele Blevins; children, Jennifer (Marc) Stone, Julie (Dennis) Kellar and Jason (Amy) Banny; grandchildren, Gavin, Khatorrie, Trevor, Austin and Skyler; great grandchildren, Chase, Lucas, Octavia, Gracelyn, baby Reimer due in December, and baby Banny due in March. In addition to his wife Janet Banny, he is preceded in death by his parents, stepmother Mary Banny; brothers, Mark Banny and Amil Banny. Per Joseph’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
