COOR ISD honors retired instructor

ROSCOMMON COUNTY- Scott Mentel, Adult TransitionCenter Instructor, retired from COOR ISD in June. He was given a clock and a plaque by Board President Dr. Jim Mangutz at the special board meeting.

Principal Joe Moore thanked Mr. Mentel for his hard work and dedication. He worked with Scott as a colleague and as his supervisor.  You can tell that Scott’s passion was for the students! Everything he did revolved around giving the students the best experience possible and getting them ready to be productive members of the community.

Superintendent Petri thanked Mr. Mentel for making strong bonds with his students, doing garden projects, meat stick sales, and other projects that helped students learn important skills.
