ROSCOMMON COUNTY- Munson Healthcare has donated $5,000 to the Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center (NMCAC) to support its specialized Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program and trauma-focused mental health services for children and families.
NMCAC operates Northern Michigan’s only non-hospital-based SANE program, providing specialized, trauma-informed care for abuse survivors. The gift will help expand access to critical medical and mental health support as demand for services continues to grow.
“This gift helps ensure children who have experienced trauma receive the care and support they need to heal,” said Rebecca Yuncker, Executive Director of NMCAC.
