The AuSable is filled with fishermen and marathon paddlers this morning. Banks are muddy and the snow piles are shrinking.

It finally seems like Spring might have finally arrived. And next week … Summer!

Events this weekend include:

  • The Egg Hunt “Eggstravaganza” will be at Hanson Hills in Grayling Sat. Apr. 8. The basket raffle begins at 9:45 a.m. with the egg hunt following at 10 a.m.
  • RZR RIPN’ RENTALS in St. Helen invites you to their 2nd Easter Egg Hunt. The event begins at 12 p.m. on Sat. Apr. 8 and all ages are welcome. They are encouraging people to donate canned goods to participate which will be provided to local food banks.
  • Easter Egg Hunt at the Plainfield Township Fire department in Hale from 9-10 a.m.
  • Easter Egg hunt at South Branch Fire Department at 11 a.m.
  • Easter Egg hunt inside the Sand Lake Community Center at 3 p.m.
  • Easter Egg hunt at the Richfield Township park at 2 p.m.
  • Easter egg hunt at Luzerne American Legion from 1-3 p.m.
  • Easter egg drop at the Oscoda County Airport at 10 a.m.
  • Please feel free to add any additional hunts.
