ALCONA – The lights and sirens of police and fire trucks lit up Roscommon Wednesday night as the Roscommon Volleyball team was escorted into town carrying the District 68 championship volleyball trophy.
The Bucks dropped the Alcona Tigers 3 games to 1 by scores of 25-13, 19-25, 27-25, 25-23.
The team advanced after dropping the Oscoda Owls in the semi finals Oct. 30 by scores of 23-25, 25-21, 25-23 and 25-20.
Roscommon advances to the regional semi-finals at Johannesburg-Lewiston High School on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. where they the face Charlevoix Rayders, who defeated Mancelona Wednesday night as well.
