TAWAS CITY – Tawas is holding its annual Men’s Softball Tournament at Dewey-Durant Park in East Tawas this weekend.
Teams traveled from across the state for the-two day event, which started with a round-robin qualifier today, and finals scheduled for tomorrow.
Teams traveled from as far Macomb County in Southeast Michigan, including a team that came in theme, dressed as 1980s rock stars.
Weather could put a damper on tomorrow’s games as the high will be around 62, but rain showers are expected after 2 p.m.
