Anna Rogers, age 93, of East Tawas, Michigan, passed away on April 8, 2024, at her home. She was born to the late Ernest and Minnie Tody in Flint, Michigan on December 6, 1930. Anna was a very faith-based and loving person who would do anything for anyone. Some of her favorite hobbies include embroidery, volunteering at the hospital or nursing homes, being a loyal member to Zion Lutheran Church, and most importantly spending time with her family.
Anna is survived by her children, Terry (Scott) Rohdy, Bill (Joanne) Rogers, and Dallas (Sharon) Rogers; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Rogers; children, Margaret McKellar and Guy Rogers; and three brothers.
Visitation for Anna will begin April 10, 2024, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City, Michigan. A funeral mass will be held on April 11, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church in Tawas City, Michigan at 11:00 AM. The family will welcome the public for visitation at the church beforehand from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Any memorial contributions may be made out to Compassus Hospice Group. Following the service, Anna will be interred into Zion Lutheran Cemetery. A luncheon at the church will take place following the burial.
