Emma Sauseda, 57, of South Branch

Emma A. Sauseda, age 47, passed away suddenly at home in South Branch, MI on April 8th, 2024. She was born on January 25, 1977, in Detroit, MI to Joseph and Elizabeth (Vance) Gendron. Emma enjoyed boating, coloring, hunting, and watching movies. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Emma married Kelly Bates in 1993. Although they divorced, they remained close friends. Emma spent the last 11 years of her life with Mike Williams. Together they lovingly blended their families. She is survived by her children; Liz (Ron) Bates, Clifford (Sam) Bates, Thorne (Anna) Sauseda, stepfather, Dennis Vance, and brother, Tim (Mary) Gendron; sisters, Andi (Ken) Wanty and Fory Gendron; Natalee, Parker, Theresa, Zayden, and Nash; Nephews, William, David, and Alex; nieces, Sydney, Harmoni, and Sabrina. In addition to her mother Elizabeth, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, uncle, partner Patrick Ross, and cousin, Billy Checks. Per Emma’s wishes cremation has taken place.
