Roy Junior Fowler Sr., age 65 of Glennie, MI., passed away in Ionia, MI., on January 10, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Roy was born on September 17, 1958 in Harrisville, MI., to the late David and Thelma (Taite) Fowler. He was a longtime resident of the area and was married to Cindy (Middleton) Fowler for over 40 years raising 4 boys together.
Roy was a professional cook by trade. He worked for local restaurants for many years as well as cooking for the restaurant him and Cindy owned. He enjoyed bingo and would play the game anywhere and anytime he could. He also enjoyed the Casino, Pogo, gardening, and hunting and fishing. More than anything else though he loved being with his family.
Roy is survived by his 4 sons, Roy Jr. (Haley), Brandon (Diana), Taylor (Megan), and Devin (Sally); brother, Don; sisters, Marie (Jim), Carla; grandchildren, Madison Jade, Roy Jr. III, Fallon Rose, Wesley Allen, Braelynn Skye, Hudson David, and many nieces and nephews.
Roy is preceded in death by his wife, Cindy (2019), and his parents.
The family will hold services for Roy at the Buresh Funeral Home in Hale on January 16, 2024. Visitation will be from 11:00am – 1:00pm. Funeral at 1:00pm. Pastor Mike Tullis will be officiating.
