Donna Yeager, 86, Prudenville

Donna Dee Yeager, 86, of Prudenville passed away on Friday January 26, 2024 at The Brook of Houghton Lake with her loving daughters and grandson Brandon by her side.

Donna was born on January 24, 1938 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Dale and Darlene (Hall) Demick. She grew up and graduated from High School in Ypsilanti. Donna was married in Dixboro, Michigan on April 23, 1957 to Robert William Yeager. The couple moved from Ypsilanti to Prudenville in 1971where they spent the rest of their days, except for a few years spent in the Lansing area.   Donna worked as a secretary and Deputy Clerk for Denton Township for 15 years.  Donna enjoyed camping and fishing, but her special love was tending to their flower gardens with her husband, Robert.

Surviving Mrs.Yeager are her two daughters, Sally M (Bernie) Slicker of Grayling, and Judith(Jerry) Bradstrom of Prudenville;  grandchildren, Tanna Meyers, Cheyanna(Matt) Losey, Amanda(Eric) Wehring, Bill Sturges, Jonathan(Andrea) Gishler, Jessica Sturges, and Ian Meyers; great grandchildren, Chandler, Hayden,, Robert, and Emma Meyers, Brandon, Lindsay, Mabel, and Ruth Losey, Landen, Jack, and Alex Sturges, and Taylor(Devin) Foulkrod; Great Great Grandson, Greyson Lindsay, and baby girl Foulkrod due in May 2024; several nieces and nephews; and one cousin, Roxanne (John) LaBlanc.  Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Yeager; two sisters, Barbara Knavel, and Audrey Caroen; and great granddaughter, Deane Sturges. 

A Celebration of life Service for Donna Dee Yeager will be conducted at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Donna are asked to be directed to Careline Hospice.
