Betty Doyle, 79, of Standish

Betty Jean Doyle, age 79, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, with her loving family by her side at Ascension of Genysis of Grand Blanc following a brief illness. She was born on November 16, 1944, in Bentley, Michigan to the late Ted and Sophie (Kielpinski) Matuszewski. She married the love of her life Donald Doyle on June 11, 1994, at Holy Trinity of Bay City. She retired from Corporate Services after numerous years of service until retirement. Betty was a very family-oriented lady, she loved baking, hosting family gatherings and traveling to Florida. Most of all she loved being a grandmother and spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Don, her children; David (Wendy) Alexander, Shawn (Jennifer) Alexander and Kelli Hendrick, grandchildren Jody (Brittany) Alexander, Katelynd (Jonathon) Krzyminski, Brooke Alexander, George Alexander, XiXi Alexander, Matthew Alexander, Blake Hendrick, Christian Hendrick, and Cody Hendrick, four great grandchildren, a sister-in-law Debbie Matuszewski, as well as several aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her three brothers Ted, Larry, and Dale Matuszewski.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 11 am from Holy Trinity Parish in Pinconning with Rev. Fr. Matthew Federico presiding with burial in St. Mary’s Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Pinconning Chapel on Friday, from 2 to 8 pm. On Saturday, Betty will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of mass.
