Stephen Burr, 80, of Beaverton

Stephen Burr, 80, of Beaverton, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023. He was born on July 5, 1943, the son of Ivan Burr and Marjorie McDonald. Stephen was united in marriage to Crystal Hund on November 6, 1965 in Beaverton. The couple shared 57 years of love and memories together. Stephen was a proud member of the United States Navy until his retirement in 1983. After his service, Stephen worked at U.S.P.S. in Midland until he retired. Stephen enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and grandchildren, and long car rides.

He is survived by his wife: Crystal Burr; his son: Shawn (Trina) Burr; his brother: Denny (Margie) Burr; his grandchildren: Andrew, Audi (Casey), Kenny, Kalob, Faith, Alyssa, Isaac, and Benjamin; his great-grandchildren: Auriana, Urijah, Adrian, Luna, Archie, Anya, and Zayn.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son: Frank Ivan Burr; daughter: Rebecca Goedecke; son: Stephen Burr II; and sister: Sandy Duke.

Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Dennis Kreil on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton, MI. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
