Sally Whipple, 79, of Beaverton

Sally Jane Whipple, 79, of Beaverton, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023. She was born on December 21, 1943, the daughter of Dick and Hilda (Kier) Watson in Holly. On July 24, 1964, she was united in marriage to Glenn Whipple in Davisburg. He preceded her in death in 2005. She was a devoted member of the Beaverton Church of the Nazarene. She loved watching western’s on T.V. and watching the Detroit Tigers with her sisters. Her life revolved around her family and church.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Renay (Paul) Schlaack, Glenn II (Ann) Whipple, Leslie Clark, Tom Martin, and Nancy Jones; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; 4 sisters: Patricia Whipple, Wilda Moue, Mary Lou Quick, and Susan Hall; along with several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Glenn; son in-laws: Donald Clark and Alan Jones; and 5 brothers.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at the Beaverton Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 4-8:00 P.M. at the Beaverton Church of the Nazarene. She will be laid to rest at the Beaverton Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made according to The Helping Hands Mission Food Pantry, 116 W. Brown St., PO Box 257, Beaverton.
