Carman Bloss II, 35, of Rose City

Carman Laverne Bloss II, 35, of Rose City, MI, embarked on his final adventure on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Flint Hurley Hospital from an UTV accident. He was born on April 28, 1988, in Fort Myers, FL to Carman and Lori (Ranger) Bloss. Carman was a true trailblazer, a loving fiancé, and a doting father.

Carman was the epitome of fun and adventure, always seeking thrills and making memories. Whether he was snowmobiling, fishing, jet skiing, or attending car shows, he knew how to rev up the excitement. And let’s not forget his love for traveling to the UP and St. Ignace Car Show, where he’d cruise in style and soak up the sights. But above all, Carman’s heart belonged to his kids and his fiancée, Amanda Kay Cox. He was always willing to help others and had a big heart.

Educated at Ogemaw Heights High School, Carman graduated with the Class of 2007, ready to conquer the road ahead. He took the driver’s seat as a supervisor at Long Term Care Pharmacy, where he made significant contributions and built lasting relationships with his colleagues.

Carman’s zest for life was contagious, and he leaves behind a trail of cherished memories. Survived by his forever love, Amanda Kay Cox of Rose City, his children, Aubrey, Brinley, and Colby Bloss, his parents, Carman and Lori Bloss of Rose City, his brother, Mark (Katie) Murringer of Traverse City, and his sister, Heather (Fred) Martin of Rose City, Carman’s legacy will continue to shine brightly. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, Amanda’s family, and extended family members will forever carry his spirit in their hearts.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernard Bloss, Evelyn Roofe, Henry Ranger, Marge Ranger, and ManyAnn Ranger, who eagerly await his arrival in the great beyond.

To celebrate Carman’s vibrant life, a playful and lighthearted Celebration of Life will be held at the Rose Township Hall in Lupton, MI on a Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Prepare for laughter, shared stories, and a sprinkle of mischief as we honor Carman’s memory.

In lieu of flowers, Carman would have appreciated contributions to his family.

The remarkable team at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City, MI, is assisting Carman’s family during this time. For more information, hop on over to www.steuernolmclaren.com.

Carman Laverne Bloss II will forever be remembered as the life of the party, the captain of his own destiny, and the driving force behind unforgettable moments. As we bid him farewell, let’s keep his spirit alive by embracing every adventure that comes our way. Rest easy, Carman, and may the roads in the great beyond be paved with everlasting joy and laughter.
