When he found time for himself, Lloyd enjoyed golfing, camping, hunting, fishing, bird watching, and chasing squirrels! Above all else, spending time with his children and grandchildren had a special place in his heart.

Lloyd married his wife and best friend, Carol Jean (Dague) on May 31, 1952.  Together, Lloyd and Carol have celebrated 71 beautiful years of marriage, and she survives Lloyd along with their 3 children, Claudia Schiller, Mark (Patti) Canute, and Ken (Judy) Canute; He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; Tera (Clay) Albert, Erin Duby (Mikey Baldwin), Danny (Lisa) Schiller and Wendy (Mike) Nichols, Corey Canute, Caleb (Stephanie) Canute, Carrie Burr, Jeff (Alana) McBride and Patrick Canute; 20 great grandchildren; Courtney (Jonny) Martin, Rhianna Albert (Kyle McCausey),  Megann (Cutler) Olsen, Myera Holberton, Jonathon Baldwin, Brenton Baldwin, Gabe Schiller, Addy Schiller, Christian Nichols, Lauren Nichols, Morgan Nichols, Hunter Canute, Hannah Canute, Olivia Canute, Scarlett Canute, Corbin Burr, Lyla Burr, Devon McBride, Haylee McBride, Connor McBride and 3 great great grandchildren; Troy Martin, Madden McCausey and Cleo Olsen and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
