Bill Badger, 84, of Gladwin

William (Bill) Badger, 84,of Gladwin passed away Monday, February 20th, 2023 after a very brief illness while wintering in Leesburg, Florida. Bill is survived by his wife Lorene of 63 years and three children Carolyn (Ken) Van Wert, Jim (Cheryl) Badger, Steve (Julie) Badger, four grandchildren, Jessica Carman, Nathan Carman, Scott Badger, Tess Badger and five great grandchildren, all of Gladwin. Bill is survived by a sister Roberta (Badger) Young of Ovid, MI and a brother Gilbert (Doris) Badger of Clare, MI.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Dorothy (Hoke) Badger and his sister Retha (Badger) Beall.

Bill served in the US Army and was employed by Dow Chemical for 18 years and then found his passion as a full time farmer in Gladwin County.

Bill and his wife were blessed to spend winters at their Florida home for many years. Bill enjoyed many activities including golf, shuffleboard, horseshoes, tennis and more recently billiards and pickleball.

Those wishing to make donations can make a gift in his memory to the Gladwin Free Methodist Church.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 20, 1:30 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin.
