Nicholas E. Meade, age 58, of Oscoda, MI, formerly of Taylor, MI passed away on Saturday, March 4th 2023. He was born on April 12th of 1964 in Wyandotte, MI to the late Sam and Linda (Swartzback) Meade.
Nicholas worked as a tool and die maker for Future Tool in Taylor, MI for many years. He enjoyed collecting baseball and hockey cards, playing baseball and hockey, building model ships and cars, collecting cars and was a wonderful cook. In addition to his hobbies, Nicholas enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family, watching sports and telling stories.
Nicholas is survived by his loving fiancé, who was the love of his life, Laura Petrous; children, Mary (Chris) Vance, Samantha Malone and Chris (Sadie) Malone; grandchildren, Bailey, Ella, Constantine, Arya and Lucina. Also survived by his uncle, Corky Swartzback; niece, Corey Clark and many other great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Victoria “Vicky” Hill and his grandmother, Mary Swartzback.
