Bryan Campbell, 66, of Gladwin

Bryan Farris Campbell died unexpectantly in his home after battling many chronic health conditions on March 4, 2023, at the age of 66. He was born on January 20, 1957, to James and Rhoda (Austin) Campbell in Owosso, Michigan. Bryan was raised in Owosso, MI as one of 9 children.

Following his primary education, Bryan joined the United States Marine Corps in 1975, to later become an Anti-tank Assault Man. He served his country from 1975-1981 before being honorably discharged from service. During his years of service, he was awarded with a Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal, Meritorious Mast Award, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Riffle Expert and Pistol Sharpshooter badges, and two Good Conduct Medals. After discharge he pursed an associate degree in business and spent his career in auto sales and as a finance manager.

Bryan married the love of his life Cindy (Veale) Campbell on August 16, 1975. Upon discharge they moved back to Owosso to raise their four children until retirement and moving to their lake cabin in Gladwin full time.

Bryan enjoyed spending his time fishing, boating, spending time at their cabin by the campfire with the children, grandchildren, and friends. He loved to go out to listen to live music, dance, and sing karaoke. He never missed a Tigers baseball game after retirement or an opportunity to hang out and spend time with his grandchildren. He loved his grandchildren more than life itself! He always carried his Marine pride on his sleeve and was very proud of the brotherhoods gained in his years of service. His greatest honor was to be one of the few, the proud, the Marines!

He is survived by his loving wife Cindy Campbell, children, Jason Campbell (Michelle), Heather Campbell, Bryan Campbell Jr. (Brittany Liggett, and Kristi Campbell (Evan). Grandchildren, Brooke Southward (Kevin), Dominique Campbell, Daymian Hogue, Abigail Kain, Avery Kraxner, Brady Campbell, Bronson Campbell, Brantley Campbell and greatgrandchild Kaitlyn Southward. His loving beagle Cleo. Brothers and Sisters, Lonnie Campbell (Janet), David Campbell, Bonnie Martindale, Kathy Weil, Jeff Campbell and Clark Campbell (Jennie).

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Ben Campbell and Scott Campbell.

Bryan will be greatly missed by all those that he left behind. We are grateful for the years we had, and the countless memories made. We will always love you and until we meet again.

At his request, there will be no funeral service. Bryan will be cremated and laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI at a later date with full Military burial.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions be made to the family. Please make any checks payable to Jason Campbell.
