Richard Patrick Roche, Jr. was born September 14, 1947 and passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023.
He leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Charmaine; daughter, April McGuire (husband Ray) and grandchildren, Joey and Emma; 2 sons, Adam Roche and Shawn Roche (wife Theresa) and grandchildren, Eric & Deanna.
February 11, 1966 he joined The United States Air Force, serving honorably for 20.5 years. In 1986, he retired after his final tour at Wurtsmith Air Force Base. He then decided to help the community by becoming a juvenile parole officer through Iosco County and later, retired a 2nd time with Oscoda Plastics.
Richard had a passion for martial arts and for over 30 years instructed Tae kwon-Do, guiding both children and seniors.
The family will welcome friends on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 10 am until the time of service at 1 pm at Buresh Funeral Home in Oscoda, MI. Interment will take place in Oscoda Pinecrest Cemetery.
