Leo Alfred Manor passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 in Whittemore MI. He was born on January 5, 1942 in Omer, MI to Leo and Alice (Salgat) Manor. After high school Leo attended Ferris State University for 2 years. He married the love of his life Barbara Marie White on August 7, 1965, in Bay City, MI. They resided in Au Gres, MI until moving to Whittemore in 1997.
Leo worked as a heavy duty diesel mechanic for 30 years until retiring in June of 1992. His favorite passed times were hunting and woodworking.
Leo is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara; children, Kevin, Lisa (Mark) Preger, Herbert (Martha), Carl (Jennifer); grandchildren, Britt (Tara), Katie, Emily, Sara, Rachael; great grandchild, Sophia. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 5 brothers.
Family will welcome friends on Monday, February 20, 2023, at Buresh Funeral Homes in Twining, MI, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. An additional time of visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 23, 2023, at St. James Catholic Church in Whittemore, MI until the time of service at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Whittemore, MI. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to American Parkinson’s Association.
