Fred Stadler, 82, of National City

Frederick Dale Stadler of National City, MI passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2023.

Fred was born May 14, 1940, in Flint, MI to Frederick A. and Lucille (Bezenah) Stadler.  He worked for General Motors for over 32 years, retiring in 1993.  Fred married Linda May Wallis on July 24, 2004.  He enjoyed cutting the grass and talking to people.  He also loved playing his harmonica.

Fred is survived by his loving wife Linda; children, Theresa (John) Fitzgerald, Melanie Bourdow, Freddie (Kim) Stadler, Kathryn Stadler, Marty (Barb)  Covert, Tammy (Jeff) Braner; grand children, Holly, Ricky, Aaron, Jessica, Caleb, Zachary, Sarah, Sammy, Karli, Chloe, Chessa, Hogan; great grandchildren, Jayton, Triston, Ameris, Ashton, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Scarlette, great son in law, Billy; many niece and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter Amanda Fitzgerald.

Family will welcome friends for a time of visitation at Buresh Funeral Homes in Hale, MI on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Food Bank of your choice.
