Christopher John Reid, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 19, 2022, in Traverse City, MI. He was born on September 28, 1972, in Traverse City, MI to Robert Reid and Kelli Nash. Christopher lived in Traverse City for the past 12 years formerly of the Lupton and Rose City areas.
He attended Ogemaw Heights High School and previously worked for Mission Management in Traverse City. Christopher also worked in various food and construction industries over the years and was currently working construction for Integrity Property Holdings.
Christopher enjoyed traveling, being outdoors, having fun, and making everyone laugh. He loved his husky dogs.
Christopher is survived by his daughters, Nyahluscia Reid and Lochliana Reid both of Traverse City; parents Rob and Sally Reid of Lupton; siblings Katie and TJ Tindal of West Branch, John (Amy O’Connor) Reid of Traverse City, R.J. (Jamie Harden) Reid of Traverse City, and Rachel and Zach Jost of Grand Rapids; nieces and nephews, Jude, Zoey, Aubree, Griffin, and Allie.
He is preceded in death by his brother Kevin Hughey and grandparents.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday, November 25, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Mel Killinger will officiate.
