Barbara Jean Young, age 83 of Twining, MI., passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 10, 1939 in Twining, MI., to the late Chester and Nola (Finnerty) Butts.
Barbara was a lifelong resident of Twining where she loved spending time with her family. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had a heart of gold and never met a person she didn’t like. She was an excellent cook and house cleaner and worked hard all her life.
Barbara is survived by her children, Jim (Donna) Young, John (Pam) Young, Barb (Dan) Card, Beverly (Jim) McNamara, Ida (Paul) Giles, and Bethel (Kristy) Young; sister, Nola Thompson, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, father of her children, Hubert Young; life partner, Robert Young, 5 siblings, and great-grandchild, Jimmy Hubert Young.
