Norma Jean Salow, age 88, loving, mother, grandmother and sister passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 at Eden Fields Assisted Living. She was born on August 19, 1934 in Idalia, Colorado to the late Otto & Bess (Miller) Andrews. Norma was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, and the Pinconning Township Zoning Board for numerous years. She will always be remembered for her love of animals, she raised great danes and birds for several years. She was employed by the Pinconning Area Schools for several years cooking as well as head of the cafeteria at the Heppner Villa. Norma enjoyed cooking and sewing but most of all she loved spending time with her family and her dog Tootsie. She is survived by her children Rick (Judy) Haskins, Ronda (Marty) Switek, Regg (Bev) Haskins and Renee (Sam) Bodrie, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, a brother Gary (Terry) Andrews and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband James Blazejewski in 1993, and predeceased by her husband Robert Salow in 2001, a great granddaughter Brianna Bodrie and her brother Donald (Barbara) Andrews.
A Direct Burial will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 1 pm at St. Agnes Cemetery with Rev. Fr. Matt Federico presiding. She will be laid to rest with her late husband James Blazejewski. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home. The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to Eden Fields Assisted Living and their staff for the compassionate care given to Norma.
