Onnalee Ella LaDrig, age 85, of Oscoda, MI went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 2, 2022. She was born on September 7, 1936 in Bridgeport, MI to the late James Charles and Ella Ruth (Boichoit) Ordiway. Onnalee graduated from Tawas Area High School and married the love of her life, Raymond LaDrig in September of 1955. She spent her life being a loving, dedicated wife and mother, proudly raising her 9 children.
Onnalee enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with her family and spoiling her beloved cats.
She is survived by her children, Raymond (Becky) Mader, Mark (Jean Bedford) LaDrig, Mary (John) Chainus, Linda (Greg) McDonald, Sandra (Cliff Usher) Annis and Janice Massey; brother, Leonard Ordiway; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond LaDrig; sons, Terry and Frank LaDrig; daughter, Cindy LaDrig; several brothers and 1 sister and sister-in-law.
The family will welcome friends on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 4 – 8 PM at Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas, MI. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 11 AM with a time of gathering beginning at 10 AM at Oscoda Church of the Nazarene in Oscoda, MI. Interment will take place following the service in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Tawas, MI.
