Buella M. Harrington, age 95, of South Branch, Michigan passed away December 28, 2021.
Buella was born April 2, 1926 in Hillman, Michigan to Edward and Grace Roe (Alderton).
Buella loved gardening, and growing flowers was her passion. She was a quilt maker and wonderful homemaker. There was nothing she couldn’t do around the house. She loved driving her golf cart around her property.
Buella is survived by her son, Irwin Harrington; daughter Alberta (John) Hyvarinen; daughter-in-law, Katherine (Larry) Harrington; grandchildren, Michael (Rosa) Harrington, Jodi (Dwayne) De La Zeida, Sarah (David) Nichols, Mark (Deborah) Hyvarinen, Deborah (Jaime) Hamner, Rebekah (Mark) Pullen, Kelly (Mike) Brown, Jeremy (Melissa) Harrington; 24 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Westine (Irwin) Lepper; close friend Frank Jeroue and many helpful, loving nieces and nephews.
Buella was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Albert Leslie Harrington; children, Leslie Allen Harrington, Milford (Larry) Harrington; siblings, Winona (Walter) Redmond, Fred (Melvina) Roe, Jay (Donna) Roe, Lillie (Allen) Harrington and Bernice (Cecil) Lepper.
Services will be held at Buresh Funeral Home in Hale on Monday January 3, 2022, officiated by Pastor Steve Harmon and Pastor Troy Tiedeman. Visitation to be held from 11am – 2pm with the funeral service at 2pm.
Cemetery service will immediately follow at the Oak Grove cemetery in South Branch. Online condolences may be offered at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
