James Booth, 84, of Luzerne

Mr. James George Booth, age 84 of Luzerne Michigan, passed away at home on May 12, 2024. 

James was born in Pontiac, Michigan, on December 2, 1939, to Reginald and Olive (Hackett) Booth. James married Judy Booth on August 6, 1960, in Union Lake, Michigan. The couple settled in Luzerne, Michigan in 1978. James had many jobs over the years, including owning his own sand and gravel business, working at General Motors for 20 years, and finally owning Tri Couty Auto Salvage in Luzerne. 

He is survived by his children Randy (Melissa) Booth, Jeffery (Cheryl) Booth, Jamie Booth, Jodie (Kevin) Peters. His grandchildren Kristen (Adam) Wright, Tylor Booth, Rachael (Jason)Fraiser, Tucker Booth, Erin (Chris) Bruno, Desiree (Cory) Bates, Jami (Aaron) Wheeler, Samantha (Justin) Holmyard, Shelby (Jac) Click, Danny (Lydia) MacIntyre, Chase O’Brien, Brianna Booth, and Bird Booth. 

His great grandchildren, Lilian, Julianna, Amelia, Arden, Lincoln, Jaxon, Sebastian, Marlee, Parker, and Bailey. 

He is also survived by his brother John Booth, Danny (Betty) Booth, many nieces and nephews and cousins. 

He is preceded in death by parents Reginald Starr and Olive Estelle Booth, his wife, Judy Booth of 53 years, sister Dollie Spencer, brother Eric Booth, and great grandson Brooks Carter Bruno. 

Visitation Friday, May 17, 2024 from 11 AM – 1 PM with funeral service at 1 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio.
