Timothy William Olari of Roscommon

Tommy William Olari, 73, of Roscommon passed away Dec. 26, 2016 at his home.

He was born March 4, 1943 in Detroit to Howard and Mary (Cimpea) Olari and married Judith H. VanSlambrouck there on April 22, 1966. He served in the Navy during the Viet Nam War.

He resided in Waterford prior to moving to Roscommon 22 years ago.

Mr. Olari owned and operated Roscommon Towing for 22 years. He was a former member of the Roscommon – Higgins Lake Lions Club. He had fun with four-wheelers, motorcycles and driving around in his tow truck. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

Surviving are his wife, Judy; two sons, Tim (Jean) Olari of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Ken (Nicole) Olari of Commerce Township; four grandchildren, Theo (Rachel) Olari of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Joellen Olari of Salem, MA, and Jake and Ryan Olari of Commerce Township; two great-grandchildren, Ruth and Toby Olari of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; brother, Bob (Janet) Olari of Highland; and sister, Anita Olari of Waterford.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will take place in the future at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.

Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon served the family.
