GERRISH TOWNSHIP–In a continued effort to promote Internet safety to the community, the Gerrish Township Police Department now has an “Internet Safety Exchange Zone” in their parking lot. This area can be utilized when exchanging goods for money that were sold on an Internet site.
This zone is under continuous video recording and will provide a safe area for people conducting on-line purchase transactions with strangers.
The zone is clearly marked with a sign and is located in the South side parking lot of the Gerrish Twp. Police Department near the back of the building. Gerrish Township Police Department is located at 3075 E. Higgins Lake Drive, Roscommon, MI.
(Gerrish Township assumes no liability whatsoever for those using the zone for conducting such transactions.)
