Crawford ‘Girls on the Run’ holds 5k

GRAYLING – The Crawford County chapter of Girls on the Run held its first ever 5K run May 20.

Coach Jennifer Shory said the program’s goal is to inspire girls in grades 3-8 to be joyful, healthy, and confident.

(The) girls learn life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games,’ Shory said. ‘The girls trained hard and everyone completed the 5K run. These girls are amazing!’

If you are interested in having your daughter participate during the 2016-2017 school year, visit the Crawford County Girls on the Run page on Facebook.
