AuSable Media, LLC, owner of UpNorthVoice.com and Up North Voice, Northeast Michigan’s source for positive community news, is accepting applications for the following contract positions:
Part-time marketing consultant
This position is open in Crawford County and the west side of Roscommon County. Prospective candidate will be responsible for collaborating with existing clients, as well as development of new customer base. This is a commission position that includes an established customer base. Company will provide business cards and email, as well as sales training.

Freelance writer / Photographer
Candidates will be responsible to produce at least one county-based feature story per month. Solid writing and camera skills required. Freelancers are needed in the following counties: Iosco, Ogemaw, Crawford and Roscommon. Compensation based on column inches and proprietary photos.

Distribution manager
Prospective candidate will be responsible for pickup and delivery of Up North Voice two days per month. Distribution area of the print product includes the following counties: Roscommon, Crawford, Ogemaw and Oscoda, as well as the west side of Iosco County. Oversight of three other delivery people with walking routes in downtown areas. Must have valid driver’s license and insurance.

AuSable Media, LLC was launched March 4, 2010. The organization’s central office is located at 709 Lake Street in Roscommon. A satellite office is located at 201 Morenci Street in Mio.
