Important deadlines for the Michigan State Primary are approaching fast!
All voters registered in Michigan were mailed an absent voter ballot application. If you haven’t received it, you can:
- Submit an application online here; or
- Download, print, and mail or email a scan or photo of your form to your clerk. If you don’t have a printer, call your clerk to have another form sent to you.
Completed absent voter ballot applications must be received by your clerk by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 31. You may also request an absent voter ballot in person at your clerk’s office anytime up to 4 p.m. on Monday, August 3.
If you’ve already received your ballot in the mail, cast your vote and return it today. Voted ballots must be received by your clerk by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, August 4 in order to be counted. If you’re unable to mail your voted ballot in time, your clerk’s office will be open on Election Day to serve as a ballot dropoff location. Same-day registration will also be available at your clerk’s office on Election Day.
