New teacher, new beginnings

By Reese Spaw (student)

HALE- Hale School welcomed a new history teacher Mr. Joel Bovee. Mr. Bovee was a previous Hale student. He is excited to being a teacher at his high school alma mater. His inspiration for becoming a teacher was his mother. His mother impacted his decision a lot along with some coaches, peers, and his role models. His best feeling of being a teacher is having the opportunity of having a positive community and being able to share what he learned to his students. The hardest thing about becoming a teacher was adapting to each individual class. His advice to pass along is that everyone is capable of growing. It takes time and effort to get better at something.
