HALE- Every year to celebrate excellence for the 8th graders, an end-of-year Mackinac Island trip is planned. To attend the trip, there are a set list of requirements regarding grades and behavior. The class advisor and students do a bunch of fundraisers and other events to raise money for the trip. Those events included running the concession stand at as many basketball games as possible and a sponsored painting class. Not only is this helping fund the trip itself, but a new activity for the agenda which includes The Butterfly House. With all the time and effort put into raising funds by the people involved, they were able to make this trip happen. A huge thank you from Hale Schools to the community for all the help and dedication given to make this trip one to remember.
