More than 200 participate in ‘Girls Night Out’ in Roscommon

ROSCOMMON – With the weather in our favor, new shops to visit, and the warm welcome put out by our area businesses, Girls Night Out was a wonderful success. Fifth Street Wines had over 200 entries, which is an increase over past years, and everyone had a great time! Each time a shopper entered a participating store, they were also able to enter the grand prize drawings, and the winners were drawn on Friday afternoon. Congratulations to the winners:

Grand Prize baskets: 1st Place: $150 in Gift Certificates: Olivia Herbst, 2nd Place: $100 in Gift Certificates: Diarin Scott, and 3rd Place: $90 in Gift Certificates: Nancy Sims.

Hat Contest Winners: (At least $30 in Gift Certificates or Gift Baskets) Best Homemade Hat: Che-Che Flewelling, Prettiest Hat: Mary Peck, Most Outrageous Hat: Mable Macudzinski, and Most Festive Hat: Debbie Mosier.
