GRAYLING – Hanson Hills Recreation Area is the site of the Superhero September: Together, We Rise on Saturday, Sept. 23 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The event will feature local heroes from area fire, EMS and police departments, face painting, disc golf, running activities and prizes for the best superhero costumes.
Sponsored in part by North Central Area Credit Union, the event is free and open to the public, with proceeds benefitting the Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center.s
