ROSCOMMON- The Roscommon High School Class of 1963 is giving back to the next generation through a new initiative that will provide every graduating senior in Roscommon High School’s Class of 2026 with a $1,000 award to support their future plans.

Called the “Next Chapter Gift,” the initiative was announced during the school’s graduation ceremony on May 21. The award was created to help graduates pursue a variety of post-graduation opportunities beyond traditional college tuition.

Students may use the funds toward skilled trades programs, workforce certifications, business-related efforts in Roscommon County, or charitable contributions.

Organizers say the gift is intended to give graduates a strong start and support their success no matter which path they choose after high school.
