For chiefs corral loose horse; Returned safely

FREDERIC – On Monday,  Dec 15, Frederic Township Fire Chief Doug Pratt and Deputy Chief Ed Goscickil and XO Christin Wargo corraled a loose horse..

According to a statement from the department’s FB page, they able to wrangle a loose horse on Old 27 and Batterson Road. The Chief’s are equipped with halters and leads.

“We have seen this kind of event before in our 30 years of service. Knowing the Equine community in Frederic, we (notified) the owner whoop met us at the scene and we happily help return the horse to his home,” the statement said.
