Joseph Paul Pastoric Jr., age 72, of Prescott, MI., passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 1, 1953, in Bay City, MI., to the late Joseph Pastoric Sr., single father. Joseph Jr. was the only child.
Joseph married the love of his life, Patricia “Pat” (Splan) Pastoric in 1973 and they had 3 sons together. Joseph worked for General Motors in the skilled trades department, primarily programming machines. He retired from GM after many years and he and Pat continued to live in Prescott / Skidway Lake.
Joseph enjoyed living up North where he could hunt, fish, and trap. He was a big fan of the University of Michigan Wolverine Football. He also let all his family and friends know that he was a huge supporter of President Trump. More than anything else though, he was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Pat; sons, Mark (Jamie) Pastoric and Matt Pastoric; brothers-in-law, Larry (Cheryl) Hensley, Jimmy (Kathy) Splan, Wayne (Carol) Chrivia; sisters-in-law, Janey (Eugen) Arndt, and Jackie Leahy; grandchildren, Waylon and Allie, and great-granddaughter, Berkeley “Baby Doll.”
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, and son, Jeffrey Pastoric (2006). Per Joseph’s wishes, cremation will take place and the family will hold a celebration of life service at a later time.
