ROSCOMMON COUNTY– The 2026 Kirtland’s Warbler Festival will feature engaging presentations from two seasoned nature experts. Jim McGrath, founder of Nature Discovery, will share insights on finding and raising giant silk moths, drawing on over 25 years as a naturalist and educator.
Nicole Schafer, a forest ecology specialist with the American Bird Conservancy, will present on creating Kirtland’s Warbler habitat, highlighting her extensive work in conservation and forest management across the Great Lakes region.
