HALE- Many former or current athletes know that the love for a sport starts from a young age, whether that is before they start school or when they sign that paper in the hallway.  This year a handful of middle school girls started their journey of volleyball.  The team showed an immense amount of progress this season.  Working hard from their first practice to the last point against Au Gres Sims at their Middle School Volleyball North Star League Tournament.  Their first games against Mio and Atlanta, they stood their ground but Mio and Atlanta had the upper hand.  The girls on Hale’s team struggled but they fought hard and didn’t give up. Come the end of the season the girls were passing much better and working as a power team.

Coach Chelsie Tromblay is a newer coach, this only being her second season coaching.  Last year she was assistant coach under Candace Young, but this year she got to be the head coach.  When questioned about her opinion on the team, Chelsie responded, “I feel like there was a huge amount of improvement and group effort.” Also interviewing one of the older players, Addison Price, about her opinion on how the team performed she said, “I think that we did really well. A lot better than last year, for sure.”  The girls improved from the beginning season, whether it was serving, passing, setting, hitting, or communicating.  The team is already filled with joy thinking about next year’s season.  Falling in love and dreaming of their high school careers.
