Skeels drops Immanuel 24-14

GLADWIN – The Skeels junior varsity basketball team recovered from a tough loss of Midland Calvary to drop Immanuel Christian 24-14 Tuesday, Feb. 1.

Immanuel fought hard to move the ball to the basket, but they were met with a wall of defensive Eagle players time after time. Executing outstanding rebounds, to gain possession of the ball, were performed by a host of Eagles, including Lucas Fuller, Harley Hughey, Max Barz, Keith Whitfield, and Ian Flach.

Continuing their full court press strategy, Immanuel worked to out play the Eagles, but were unsuccessful.

Barz led the Eagles with 14 points. Keith Whitfield added six points.
