ROSCOMMON – The Junior Varsity Skeels Christian School boy’s basketball team traveled north to take Immanuel Christian School of Roscommon.
The temperatures outside were nearing the single digits, however things soon heated up inside on the basketball court. Both teams took to the floor with a strong determination to play hard and bring home a win, with the Eagles coming out on top, 22-19.
Immanuel players pressed the SCS Eagles from all directions throughout the night. Throw-ins became a challenge, however Max Barz was able to outmaneuver the opponent time after time as he successfully got the ball to his teammates. Adrian Ornelas, Zander Persky, and Wyatt Flach worked tirelessly to keep the ball under Eagles’ possession.
Outstanding and aggressive rebounding was seen under the basket by Lucas Fuller (six points), Max Barz, Ian Flach (12 points), and a host of Eagles.
