Owen Daniel King, of Tawas City, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland, Michigan, age 75 years. Owen was born on February 2, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Tawas Area High School, class of 1969. He is survived by his wife, Claudia, and children, Aaron (Evonne) King, Jasmine (Traci Vaught) King, Kerri (Robert) Hunter, Kyle (Christina) King, and Shawn King; grandsons, Ashton, Owen, Benjamin, Mason, Jackson, and Gideon King. Also surviving are his brothers, Christopher (Roberta) King, Andrew (Lynn) King, John (Christina) King, William (Jennifer) King, and sister, Mary (Greg) Gersch; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Norma King. Per his request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Buresh Funeral Home of Tawas City, Michigan.
