Edward “Chip” Ralph Durga, Jr., of Grayling, age 61, passed away in Clare, MI on June 27, 2025 at the Medilodge of Clare.
Chip was born on November 18, 1963 to Edward R. Durga Sr. and Barbara L. (Coaty) Durga in Scottsbluff, NE. He enjoyed biking, traveling, socializing, the beach, reading, joking around, and beer. He served in the U.S. Army from 1984 to 1987. He received several service ribbons, rifle marksman badge, and took the graves registration specialist course while serving his country.
Chip is survived by his mother, Barbara L. Durga of Grayling; sister, Julie Fagan of Grayling; children, David (Karina) Jorgensen of Denmark, Lynzee Meyers of Grand Rapids and Dillan Durga of Grand Rapids; granddaughter, Emilia Jorgensen of Denmark; niece, Monique Fagan of Grayling and nephew, Travis (Carrie) Fagan of Grayling.
Chip is preceded in death by his father, Edward R. Durga, Sr.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held in the near future.
