Margaret Pollen, 92, of Roscommon

Margaret Matilda Pollen, age 92, of Roscommon, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in Traverse City, Michigan, in the presence and comfort of her family.

Margaret was born November 30, 1931, in Johannesburg, Michigan, the daughter of Andrew and Ada (Dickman) Fox. Margaret was a beacon of light. The family will always remember her for being the greatest mom and grandmother ever. Margaret always had time for everyone. She was known for having a wonderful sense of humor. Margaret requested that everyone spread her love around even after she is no longer with us.

Margaret will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her children: Nancy Bishop, Carol (John) Kovach, Charlene (Ron Cody) Clark, Paul (MaryJane Sundquist) Pollen, Mark (Michele) Pollen, Kelli (Lee) Kokel, and Lori Howell; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Olaf; daughters: Jeannette Ruby, Linda Marsack, and Lisa Pollen; son, David Pollen; grandson, Michael DeMeere; great-grandson, Dane Stackpoole; brothers, Andrew Fox and Bob Fox; and son-in-law, Jerry Bishop.

Family and friends gathered for visitation on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, 143 Lake Street, Roscommon, Michigan, 48653. The Funeral was on Sunday, May 5, 2024, also at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors.

Margaret will be laid to rest at Pioneer Cemetery in South Branch Township, Michigan.

If so desired, the family prefers memorial contributions be made in Margaret’s name to Roscommon Free Methodist Church, 1515 N M-18, Roscommon, MI 48653.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon.
