Mary Lou Peterson, Age 71, of Grayling, MI passed away on March 16, 2024 at Grayling Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Mary was born on February 2, 1953 to Arthur and Rachel (Turner) Denewett in Grayling, MI. Mary had very strong faith and love for Jesus Christ and loved to read the Bible. She enjoyed helping family members in any way that she could and she was a very generous person.
She liked to go shopping with her sister Tricia and be out and about. She enjoyed taking care of plants and was obsessed with lighthouses. She was very fond of her grandchildren and loved them all dearly. Also, she had a fantastic sense of humor.
Mary is survived by: Daughter, Tracy (Laurence) McQueen; Grandchildren, Sarah (Richard), Kyla, Noah, and Parker; Great-Grandchildren, Rori and Kendall; Siblings, Tricia (Mark), Terry, Gloria, and Beverly; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Rachel and siblings Joan, Arlene, and Shirley.
Cremation has taken place and Mary’s family will have a private family memorial at a later date.
