Helen Opal Jarrell, died peacefully at her home in Mio, Michigan with her family by her side.
Helen is survived by her husband Walt; her two daughters: Tina Kissella of Belleville, Michigan and Koneta Jarrell of Romeo, Michigan; three grandchildren: Ashley Shukait, Kandyce Leigh, and Walter Singleton; and five great-grandchildren.
Helen was born in Hazard, Kentucky to Andrew and Nellie Engle. She had 13 brothers and sisters; two survive her: Ollie Jo Robinson of Kentucky and Juanita Brown of Missouri. Helen enjoyed her home and watching deer from her back deck. Helen met Walt in 1962 soon they were married. She retired from Ford Motor Company, Local 898, on October 1, 1996, after 30 years. Helen appreciated her union and representatives.
In accordance with Helen’s requests, no flowers or services. Cremation has taken place.
