Sharon L. Berry (82) formerly of Oscoda, MI, went to her heavenly home on February 13, 2024. Her devotion to God supported her during her later years. Sharon was born to the late Charles and Maxine Jaques (both deceased) on January 8, 1942.
She went to Argubright Business School in Battle Creek for 1-½ years. She then moved to Lansing to be with her sister’s family where she worked for the Board of Water & Light until she married Butch, who was stationed at the Air Force base in Oscoda. They received orders for Okinawa, Japan, where they adopted their daughter, who they named Sherrill. Sherrill and her
husband Dan Gardiner live in Ada, MI. Sharon had several interests including sewing, crafts, and camping. After she was married, she taught piano lessons for several years and worked as an aide for 14 years at Iosco County Medical Care Facility, from which she retired. She also played piano for services at Oscoda Assembly of God for 32 years. She was blessed with a brother, Bill Jaques, who lives near Seattle, WA, with his wife Shari, plus several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister, Charlene, and her husband Gordy. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 at Oscoda Assembly of God with burial
to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery in Mt. Morris February 19, 2024.
